Cholinergic receptor, nicotinic, beta 1 (muscle) (CHRNB1) - coding DNA reference sequence

This file was created to facilitate the description of sequence variants in the CHRNB1 gene based on a coding DNA reference sequence following the HGVS recommendations. The sequence was taken from NG_008026.1, covering CHRNB1 transcript NM_000747.2. The protein is N-terminally cleaved to obtain the mature CHRNB1 protein, removing the signal peptide (amino acids 1-23). Publications describing variants in CHRNB1 originally used the mature protein as a reference.
